The intervention consists of the restoration of a little church of the XIII century and its close spaces, which is located in a fraction of the municipality of Castelliri (FR).
The pursuit of an architectonic homogeneity of the complex has contributed to reinforcing the thought of different work on the external and internal façades of the building.
The planning choice has been characterized by the necessity of restoring the complex with materials and techniques compatible with the building systems of the church itself starting from the walls.
Regarding the integration with the landscape, the restoring intervention tends to improve the harmonic meshing of the neighborhood and grants a better historical and typological understanding. The ancient structure’s promotion is completed by a careful study of the artificial enlightenment inside and outside the building.
